New Hypnosis Downloads Coming Soon
It’s been rather quiet at iHypnoU lately, but we’re looking to change that soon. We’ve been working on putting together some new hypnosis recordings, and look to be releasing them shortly. Additionally, while we continue to work on courses for both hypnosis training and self hypnosis methods, we have partnered to bring you a series of videos from Jeffery Stephens teaching how to hypnotize almost anyone in just a few minutes. You can access them by heading over to iHypnoU.com/Learn

Hypnosis Video – When Suggestions Get Complicated
Sometimes giving a subject a simple suggestion can be more complicated than you first expect.
We’re working on a basic hypnosis learning course, but we’ll try to put out some more free tip videos like this one if the response is good. If you’re interested in hearing more about learning hypnosis when the course comes out, sign up for email updates.
If you’d like to try hypnosis, download our Introductory Induction .mp3 on the Audio Trances page. This .mp3 will hypnotize you and take you into a deep trance, without making you do somthing silly or leaving any suggestions behind.

Basic Hypnosis Induction How-To
We’ve posted a tutorial on how to hypnotize someone using Michael’s favorite induction. You can find it over at Instructables.com. The article, titled Easy Hypnosis Induction, has received almost 1900 views after a week online. If you’ve ever wanted to learn hypnosis, this is a very good place to start, as it shows you a simple induction you can pick up really quickly. It doesn’t yield much understanding of what’s actually happening, but it’s a good way to get your feet wet.
If you’re looking to really get into the nuts and bolts of hypnosis, I’d recommend picking up a copy of Trancework: An Introduction to the Practice of Clinical Hypnosis by Dr. Michael D. Yapko. Far from just a simple list of induction scripts, it delves into how and why hypnosis works, debunking many myths along the way. It is thorough, without being unapproachable for someone completely new to working with hypnosis.
If you’re purely looking to get into stage hypnosis, the go-to tome is The New Encyclopedia of Stage Hypnotism by Ormond McGill. This 600 page monster, often called the bible of stage hypnosis, has all you need to begin performing your own stage hypnosis show. The first half focuses on induction methods and mechanics, while the second half focuses on the mechanics of running the stage hypnosis show itself.
